Last time i listen to amazon shoe reviews on sizes........ugh!
I went by the reviews an ordered a half size bigger than my normal size. The shoe was almost A SIZE TOO BIG!
If you have purchased good quality pointed toe leather shoes before you know they are ALWAYS UNCOMFORTABLE in the toe bed at first. They will stretch if it is good leather and it will stretch a lot. These shoes are meant to be broken in. What you want to look at when fitting a leather pump is how the back of your heel is in the shoe. You want a snug fit, just not tight. If its comfy and snug in the back then you are good to go.
I'm normally a 8.5 in most heels but this one i needed an 8. I ordered at first in the snake and then a second pair in matte black. The second pair in my normal size 8.5 was too big. My foot slipped out of the shoe still. I have a feeling 8 would have fit perfect but I wanted to wear them and didnt feel like waiting to return and then get new size. So i threw in some of these - and wore the size 9 snakeprints i originally bought.
Even with the sizer they are still a tiny bit loose but wearable. I will but some inserts in the back as well and that should do it.
I would have kept a smaller size, but the black were just dull looking. Nothing exciting or special about them, i've seen better black pumps.
But the snakeskins.........oh mai gawd,
